A flash-based version of the new Valve game Portal.
Quite creative and fairly fun (and addictive, I was way too many levels into the game by the time I noticed what time it was).
Fairly big file (for a flash-based game) so it might take a minute or two to load.

This is another “Escape Game”, which is a genre that (I believe) started in Japan.
The basic premise of this type of game is that you are stuck somewhere (often in a single room) and must try to get out (or “escape”). Some of the original games in this genre actually had a “you have been captured by a madman and must escape before he comes to kill you” sort of theme, but there have been many variations to the genre of late, although basic gameplay remains the same.
This is one of those variations. It’s a cute short game made by “Oshiro no Shiro”, originally offered only in Japanese, I provided the translation for an English version which is now available at the address below.

If you have any questions or comments, or find any bugs or errors with the game feel free to leave a comment below.
You can find Oshiro no Shiro’s other games (only in Japanese at the moment, if there are others you’d like to see translated leave a comment and let me know) at this address.

Indoor wave pool in Tokyo during summer vacation…
Apparently Tokyo Summerland Wave Pool
Everyone has vacation at the same time and most end up going to the same places. You couldn’t pay me enough money to get in that water… there has got to be some risk of illness…
One of the comments at youtube points out another fear.

Wheee, busy busy, haven’t posted anything for awhile.
Anyway, today I have the pleasure of posting the first game to be posted to this site.

A bunch of videos of near misses. Mostly car crashes/accidents but a few others. These people are unbelievably lucky. I’d have crapped my pants in pretty much any one of these situations.
A piggy bank that seems to chew and swallow your money in a pretty convincing manner. Cool or just creepy?
Pictures of the rooms of some gamers. Big screen tvs, projectors, even a pilot’s seat from an airplane! All to play some X-box or Playstation =P
