These are some clips from a Japanese comedy show called Gaki No Tsukai Ya Arahende featuring the comedy duo “Downtown“. The show consists of a variety of comedy skits but generally the most popular and (in my opinion) most interesting bits are those where they play “games” like in these clips.
The game in this first clip is that the participants (all comedians) are given a topic and they have to draw that topic. The person who draws the worst, as decided by all the participants and the audience, has to play a “batsu game”, which literally means and X-game, or a penalty game. In this particular instance the “batsu game” is to take a run on the “chinko machine”, literally the “penis machine”, which… well, watch the video. They are supposed to draw a lobster and a dragon.
These next two clips are after the previous one. Since it was discovered that Hamada (the guy in blue) can’t draw to save his life, playing the other game was mostly pointless because he always lost, so they change it up a bit. In this version, everyone is again given the same topic (in the first vid, Super Mario and a frog in the second video Spiderman and Darth Vader), but this time they have to draw the topic like they think Hamada will draw it, not like what it actually looks like. Hamada being the horrible artist that he is, this is sometimes fairly hard.

And a bonus, another round against the “chinko machine”. This time they have to recite a really long, tongue twister-like promo for the show without messing up, or if they do mess up…
The game in this clip is that they are in a fake English class where all sorts of stupid things happen (like the studdering comedian who obviously can’t speak English worth a damn) and if any of them laugh they suffer some kind of punishment.
And this last clip guest stars K-1 champion Ernesto Hoost. This time they are in a library and are not allowed to laugh or make noise, or else again the dreaded batsu game.
